Work Packages (WP)

The work plan of this proposal is composed of 4 work packages (Table below). The figure below shows the linkages between the project work packages. There will be continuous two way cooperation between the different work packages to achieve the objectives of the project. For example, the data developed by WP2 will be input into the modeling process implemented by WP3 with the help of scientists from WP1 and WP4. Work Package 1 ensures methodological alignment, administrative coordination, and adherence to project goals, facilitating seamless implementation of the complex modeling tasks, given the participatory nature of the modelling process.

On the other hand, Work Package 4 complements these efforts by translating the outputs from WP2 and WP3 into accessible formats, engaging stakeholders for model validation, and disseminating findings to policymakers, scientific communities, and local stakeholders. Ultimately, by sharing results, engaging stakeholders, and promoting the project’s achievements, Dissemination and Communication enhances the impact and visibility of all work packages, ensuring that their outputs reach and influence the intended audiences.

This integrative work creates a symbiotic relationship where the multi-disciplinary study provides raw data, project management ensures rigorous implementation, and communication strategies amplify the impact of the system dynamics models, ultimately supporting the project’s goal of developing a cooperative, sustainable management approach for the HAM ecosystem.
